Welcome-board Samples

Happy Holidays!

Another year draws to a close contest experiences, and now in its fourth edition. We took four years trying to collect contest the testimony of all those who follow the web and we know that with your experience as volunteers can encourage and guide others to do the same.

Our goal, before and now, is to demonstrate that section that we believe may be the motor of the page, and then carrying contact to volunteer organizations, dispel any doubt about the issue of how , why and where to volunteer or and provide the content section.

In this fourth edition, we received, we've really gone back to get even more insistent, more critical, direct and indirect, for the gift we offer and some other gift to offer this. It has always been the same gift, an iPod.

The first year we launched the competition we plan to do it without anything in return, following the philosophy of hacesfalta.org (do not ask anything, we can not offer anything more than a space) but in a mini-survey we did user / active on the web as we indicated that more would be encouraged to participate if the prize was more than a recognition of other users.

Rating

we decided to make an effort to get something symbolic that would enhance participation and increase the recognition (to the witness, never to voluntary action) and again try different gift (set of books, camera , music player ...)

All of these options, so that did not involve an added cost to the project were things we could buy in a shop that Grupo VIPS financial donation made us for this, but if I did in kind. That is, we had to choose something they have in stock.

Ask Again most showed us the preferred choice between your iPod. It's certainly not a basic need and it is nothing that reflects the sense of volunteerism. Nor have we ever claimed this, nor with the gift or the competition. In the coming weeks will begin publishing organizations specific volunteering opportunities at Christmas. And Hacesfalta.org you want help with your good intentions by giving them ideas to make your calls something original training, and why not a holiday.

A few days ago in Hacesfalta.org received a call where a guy asked where he could celebrate his birthday, which was to meet at least 20 people, doing something participatory where he and his friend @ s could collaborate on something and with someone. Is not this a great idea? We would like to see more calls for voluntary

where encouraged to participate in group or family.

To promote volunteering as a family believe that Christmas is a good opportunity. To raise awareness of the changing habits of consumption, multiculturalism, reflecting on the different ways of celebration of this event in other cultures, where adults and children can do something together, and where your contribution makes a difference in them and others. A Christmas where they can do other things that do not have to be related to consumption. Maura
