It just takes a woman brutally murdered - SCREAM 4

For Fernandes Luanda

If Jean-Luc Godard all you need is a woman and a gun to be a movie (overtly rule adopted by Quentin Tarantino), Wes Craven for all you need is a woman brutally murdered by a gun. This would be sufficient to identify the latter with Hitchcock.

As spelled out in Scream 4 (2011), Wes Craven is an heir to Hitchcock than Godard, not only by the beautiful blonde beaten to death by a sword, but also by the many characters who are named or even creations of actors (in this case, Anthony Perkins can also be seen as a character) Hitchcockian, such as Marnie (Brittany Robertson) and Rebecca (Alison Brie). The saga of Wes Craven classic counterculture was born at a time. Rescued rules of the genre, but reflected some of them to finally subvert. The main subversion is the inclusion of an author over the slaughter. In this fourth sequel, the director continues to reflect, subverting and including new contemporary demands: the massive use of new technologies, show the self provided by the Internet and the strong influence of gender debates.

The fatal victims are still women - can not betray the master when it comes to power cinematic cute blonde brutally murdered. But now discuss blondes in postmodern pastiche. If Urban Legend (film that came in the path of the pioneer Scream) had made progress on this issue to put a woman as the perpetrator of the crimes, Scream 4 goes further: the victims, the killer and the police are all women. The men get to be manipulated. Even what they might claim - the knowledge - now becomes an attribute of female character. At one point, Kirby (Hayden Panettiere) causes the character after the same film lover and murderer with an enviable mastery of the details of horror films. The gay also claim the right to survive - something that used to be reserved exclusively for brunettes virgin -. New times, new social roles, new rules. Counter

also in touch with the trivialization of the psychological dimension of his murderers, then that in the aftermath produced in the 80's, culture's psyche trying delve monsters before killing machines were simple, like Freddy Krueger or Michael Myers. The first, in a recent sequel, justifies his actions with a vengeance to the sanction imposed on their past acts of pedophilia (Nightmare on Elm Street, which premiered last year). The second develops his psychopathy in childhood marked by the abandonment of his mother prostitute (film, 2007). In Scream 4, the killings are justified by the show to remind us that although Hitchcock outlined an argument for us to understand psychoanalytic Norman Bates, the greatest legacy of the master of suspense to slasher movies is: everything you need to make a film is a beautiful blonde brutally murdered. This is the biggest show in pre-and post-internet.

Happy ending or beginning a problem: The movies with babies

Formulas are various, but there is no doubt that these films will tangles, twists, gags, a scene with a filthy diaper, a moment of tenderness and secure ... a happy ending.

Within this sub-genre are those in which the baby is the beginning of the story and others where only part of the happy ending.

In the first, the child always come unexpectedly to life of a first-or, worse, to the life of someone who wanted a baby into your life. Of course, this or these characters are, prima facie, the less suitable for raising a child: a womanizing bachelor ... or three! in the case of Three Men and a Baby , a scruffy guy and without any kind of order in his life, as Adam Sandler in Big Daddy (okay, a child was 5 years ... but it is equally I), a grumpy loner as Kolya, a perfectionist woman, addicted to work and no experience in the field, as Diane Keataon in Baby Boom (I think that translated Who called the Stork here) or the recently released under the same roof ( Life as we know it ), where almost all options are combined, a womanizer and misaligned type a perfectionist and dedicated women to work.

There is a sub-sub-genre are those where there is a mega tragedy in which there is a happy couple but the mother dies, leaving the father alone with the child. Man will enter into crisis, depression, etc. The public fake a room to leave the cinema, until by the action of the support network of the type (mother, father, friends, etc.) reacting, taking charge of the child. Examples: Sarah and Single Dad (Jersey Girl)

Anyway, in general, to the surprise arrival of a child or infant, the adult characters refuse the challenge first hand and look for another alternative for their upbringing. They are not prepared and do not have the task then call the social service, a home for orphans or whatever to annul the bodoque. The child in this instance must be touchingly unbearable. The tears and tantrums will but will always end up with something nice (a little laugh, a smile, babble, etc.).. False parents still are not moved, the audience empathizes with the players but just are moved with the young.

The incidents follow a little while until the inexperienced adults are finding some order and routine to deal with the new intruder in their lives. Surely there are more orthodox solutions but sure are fun. Example: One of Three Men and a Baby reading the review of a boxing match for the baby to sleep, Adam Sandler diver dressing to bathe the boy.

A little more calm with this routine, the adults will find some peace to better observe the child and see that reality is not so overwhelming as it first appeared and may even be tender. Surely there is a key scene where this is explicit, then go to the point of conflict where that institution which had asked for help (or the biological mother) come back. But now things have changed, I do not want to get rid of him or anything like that, quite the contrary ... and there will come the wrenching scene. Happy ending? Sure! If the child stays with the players, it's all good. The reverse occurs if the child is happy and the adults have learned a good lesson. Anyway, in these films, the baby is yes or if a problematic start. Cursiva

In another formula, which comes unexpected realm is pregnancy. Here we have the option of viewing the relationship as giving rise to star status or fertilization of celluloid, as the case of Look Who's Talking Up or Nocker (Knocked Up). Also introduces the topic by showing how the girl spits on several occasions, at which point she immediately associate that fact that unsafe sex ratio occurred a few weeks ago. Another way of stating the matter is through the stage of pregnancy test and I have here to congratulate Juno the joke in which the protagonist is the 5th test with the same result ... positive ... and begins to shake the wand test, what the newsstand says, "is a pregnancy test, not a thermometer, will not be shaking."

Anyway, the movie shows us that there's a girl pregnant and was not expecting ... Given this, must necessarily come the time when it alerts you to the counterpart on the situation. The men's reactions are varied and generally include an accident, joke or gag. 9 Months In , Hugh Grant hits the road, in Nocker Up she says she's pregnant so he asks: "pregnant with emotions?

This situation does not leave out the romance, just the opposite! It is seen that, for the writers, there's no time to fall in love during the gestación.Puede that the couple is well formed and that, following the coming into crisis pregnancy but certainly, after 9 months, will be more in love than before . Perhaps no partner but a fellow a chance meeting but that will not stop them build a happy family test ... total, is a comedy ... what can go wrong? The last option is that the pregnant girl is engaged with a third party who had nothing to do with the situation but it fits perfect in this new life. The emblematic example: Look Who's Talking .

The months elapse and the girl and her partner will go by the idea that this is not as bad as it seems. The timing of the trip to the hospital and childbirth are the favorite part of comedy writers. Cum on cars more dangerous than Lethal Weapon 4, exasperating and a doctor screams are the perfect combination awkward when giving birth, according to them. The problem that had existed at first ends with the birth of the baby, obviously, bring a happy ending for parents and the public.

right ... to various formulas are repeated, but that does not mean you select this sub-genre a Sunday afternoon on cable.

Does A Hernia Hurt To Touch

WINNER: Overcoming a story told and

The formula is not new. A man has to face different obstacles to overcome nature, overcome step and learn an important lesson before the end of the film. No shortage of voices counselors a coach, trainer or similar, nor a colleague who is with him and support him forever.

So why tempt me see Winner (The Fighter)? What is so different from the rest?

I do not think that has to do, necessarily, in fact be based on a true story we have also already seen that. I think Winner differs from the sum of small decisions that were taken that, to tell a story of this particular way and not another.

If one looks closely, you can see that there are several details that are a function of the form to tell something.

The film shows a slice of the life of boxer Micky Ward (Mark Wahlberg), his half brother, Dickie Eklund (Christian Bale), his family and the Charleene (Amy Adams), the woman who helps change a little life. Sounds a little mixed? can be ... I think it is the intention of the film give us a picture not very orderly roles that each plays in the network family to go semi clearing the panorama, as the movie progresses, to let us expose the most hidden of all: Micky.

This boy a little stricken in years, according to the parameters of the sport, is one of the 11 children in a family very particular and disorderly. The movie is about showing in second place for his older brother, Dickie, a former boxer who had a moment of glory, a rather eccentric inflated by his family to after becoming addicted to crack which simulates taking his time Micky train.

The movie begins with scenes of a documentary being filmed at that time, about the life of Dickie about his supposed return to the ring. In these scenes, walks Dickie through the streets of his neighborhood, waving to all the neighbors, getting a little canchero recounting their past exploits. The camera follows him and at one point he invites his brother Micky, who is working in asphalt, to join the scene and so takes to tell it was he who taught everything that today the least known about box. Micky is shy at first but then breaks off in the fuck of her brother and both end up in a nice representation of their camaraderie.

With this simple scene, the Director (David O. Russell) shows two or three things about the characters and story, leaving it too: First, the documentary gives us to understand that this is a story based on real events. Second, Dickie appears as the hero but in reality passes us the story of the hero being treated rather on Micky, who is now in a different order of priorities in the picture. It also gives us a first glimpse of the personality of each (one more simulated and mounted on its own character and another real , feet on the ground ... or asphalt) and the difficult relationship between them and the other nearby. Thus, the scene ahead of us a little battle that likely will have to give everyone in this part of their lives.

Thereafter, the film is guiding history, a subtle story. While we recognize that there are clichés in this sub-genre of improvement, the subtle passes away. No matter if you already know or anticipate how they will cope situations, not if we imagine the role that they will comply with certain characters. With small details Winner is putting us in history despite these somewhat hackneyed and gets put focus on the wealth that has this family biography apparently mixed. So, slowly, begin to see history through the eyes of Micky, without forcing an obvious or violent.

In this story there are many things mixed up and jumbled. From family ties to versions of the same event. There is nothing that looks like one way. There is no absolute good or bad families and this is no exception. There are no villains or heroes totals. That reality is raw and tender at once ... and I think the director chose to tell through the story of Micky because he who has the closer look at the reality , with all the good and bad in it. Or at least, is he opening his eyes first, making the prospect of change all around.

Whether this story is similar to other ... here's another way to tell.

Like Micky, Mark Wahlberg and this movie were a bit ignored in the Oscar awards, but were nominated. I recommend you not to ignore it and give it a chance one of these.

Wella Blondor Reviews For All Over Blonde

THE SPEECH OF THE KING: One of those movies ... right to do with parents

Dear young people: If does not pay much attention or give a time to their beloved parents or if they do not share too much to carry on a conversation of more than 20 minutes of discussion, I invite you to invite them to view this movie proper English.
Cursiva
Thus, it is ... IMHO, the king's speech is a film above all things right . A correct history, where one person helps another to overcome a number of traumas, one that manages to overcome the obstacles that prevented more fully carried out and a woman that comes unconditionally. Set the right way to take us to the time when events were happening. A staging and lighting as correct that generate almost claustrophobic in the open spaces and freedom in confined spaces. Composed of the right music.

However, almost none of this is truly extraordinary ... Could

said that the trio of performances highlighted above the mere correction. It's true. But I do not know enough.

may be one of those damn movies by the Academy Award. One of those cases where if you see the film without knowing who won the Oscar for best of the year, you would like more without knowing it. For my part, I saw her before the awards and I do not really shocked or left with the feeling that would stay in my memory for a long time.

In the same line of movies to watch with parents, that is correct with a story without much controversy, no awkward scenes, etc., I must say that Queen I liked the most. It may be as simple as "I liked" or "I did not so much" ... may not have much explanation to understand why the king's speech I was fascinated.

Either way, it is to be taken into account when one of your old asks you to recommend which of the releases can go to see them paint or watch a movie together.

Why Do Brazilians Use Eggs On Birthdays

GENDER INEQUALITY

In general, it bothers me quite a lot when people directly ignores genre. I make noise ¨ No statements as I like action ", "I do not see music" or "science fiction bores me" .

not seem too reliable expressions like "I love horror" as if The Exorcist and The Game of Fear 9 were the same.

Most times I respond to this with phrases "to me so I do not like are bad movies" or "in general I like good movies, regardless of genre are ".

I do not care too much how come a film canister. Other things are what makes me like it or not.

Eye, I do not think it's wrong that people like this or that genre. This rejection of which I speak is definitely my problem. Is standard in the world that certain people like certain genres and discard others.

Beyond that I know of great movies that come in each of these sub-genres, it is entirely logical that people choose.

Also, now that I think of myself I act that way if we get to spin finer, entering the realm of sub genres and the "sub sub genres."

For example, speaking of science fiction ... I definitely prefer the alien invasion movies, type Invasion of the usurpers of bodies or extraterrestrial encounters as Close Encounters or ET , before movies robots, cyborgs or androids (unless we're talking about one of Terminator name). I also have more fun than the apocalyptic future the virtual reality. Mind you, if we talk about parallel worlds like Star Wars , buy almost without hesitation.

In terror, I am also able to separate the chaff from the wheat: I like pretty much everything that is "classic horror creatures" as Frankenstein or Dracula than anything that has to do with demonic possession. Polanski's psychological horror trouble me that much more explicit and sadistic thing The Game of Fear. The zombies was fun, but not ghosts. Slasher movies as I prefer to focus the the gore, etc.

The world of crime also can be categorized. I like movies of private detectives, but only if there is a femme fatale. If Barbara Stanwyck is better. The Mafia is also a fertile ground for film, may ask to Coppola. On the other hand, I like intelligence solely in the hands of masters like Hitchcock (International Intrigue ), but not James Bond wave. For police, I'll take a buddy movie of two very different cops, type Lethal Weapon. Not to mention films such as theft Fuego Contra Fuego or The Perfect Plan. And there are movies that focus on what comes after the theft: the persecution. Bullit and The Italian Job are great exponents. I hate to catch the bad guys and bring them to trial. Well, I love movies trials. Who could forget 12 Angry Men, Witness for the Prosecution or Question of Honor ? Still, I stay with what comes after the trial: the punishment. Nothing is more amazing than the movie in prison. In the Name of the Father , Papillon and unforgettable Dream of Freedom. And if a film of a prison escape, much better!

Comedy is another genre that can be divided into dozens of subgenres different: we action comedies such as Showtime , -black comedy Death Becomes Her , family comedies, horror comedies, parodies as The Naked Gun . A genre that I love are political satires as In The Loop , Bulworth or The Bob Roberts. I am fascinated by mockumentaries or false documentary by Christopher Guest (Waiting for Guffman , Best in Show, A Mighty Wind ). Those who do not like one bit are the comedies of remarriage, where a couple who lost Spark is wrapped in a adventure that will reawaken the love. Another very successful subgenre are comedies "bring it", where a grupete of puberty is to be sexually active. And since we are, we can talk about sex comedy, the screwball comedy or so fashionable in the 40s. And what about slapstick and physical humor, scatological comedies and many others ...

and romantic comedies are not all alike, eh? Somewhere I read a good categorization. Are those of opposites attract, as Bridget Jones or the popular girl with the nerd. A scheme to me love is to "fall in love but do not know" as in the brilliant Sleepless in Seattle or its close cousin 've Got Mail. And what about those in which a structured boy comes across a girl free good live for today, as in Mi Novia Polly or 500 days with her . Another that led to dozens of romantic comedies is the writer Jane Austen. The rejection from the start that leads to love in Pride and Prejudice is fixed: there are tens of Adapa of the novel, but also find the logic in or Runaway Bride 10 Things I Hate About You (which is actually a version of The Taming of the Shrew ). Other classics are good arguments to "know your in-laws" of Guess Who's Coming to Dinner or Family my girlfriend, or the "girl reporter writes an article" The Ugly Truth , How to lose a guy in 10 days , Shopaholic and many others.

The drama is also full of examples of all kinds, from addictions movies The Lost Weekend or When a man loves a woman , To biographies of people who succeed and then fall from grace, to finally reach a kind of redemption before he died. No matter if we talk about Ray Charles, Johnny Cash or whatever, these biographies usually respond to a very definite pattern. We also have dramas of all time: the English countryside, the Holocaust, the Depression-era. There is always room for drama. Even the family reunion comedy can quickly turn to tragedy if the situations lead to a genre and not another.

to the very Western, which could be reduced to "a guy with a hat above a horse ", can offer variants for all tastes: some people prefer the classic westerns of John Ford, while others lean towards the Spaghetti Westerns of Sergio Leone style. Apart from this differentiation, we can find biographies, westerns frontier, twilight westerns, historical epic of outlaws, shooters, herding cattle and many more.

In short, the film offers or alternative schemes to suit all tastes.

Would you like comedies? Very good! I have to offer an unparalleled range of any type or size, for the portfolio of the lady or gentleman's pocket ...

Milena Velba Images Hq

legend is printed! - RANGE

few of us do not believe that the Western is the genre par excellence. Iconography, the burden of symbolism and many other features make it the most fertile ground possible to illustrate a multitude of stories and universal themes. The boundary between good and evil, the coming of modernity to leave the past behind, the notion of justice, the search, redemption, the creation myth ng Etceteras and many more.

However, surprising as in recent decades the genre has been so abandoned. We are in a time when it is always easier reference crude, the mere mention or citation, that a greater understanding of the possibilities of the genre and the creation of works that take advantage of their wealth. Honoring, but properly. Thus, there are few examples of Westerns of recent decades that have hit the jackpot. After Peckinpah, Clint Eastwood might be Kevin Costner's best approached him. Every so often there are remakes ( The 3:10 am train to Yuma, or the great genre exercise with Coen True Grit) and we can see clear traces of Western in movies like Kill Bill Vol 2 and The Three Burials of Melquiades Estrada .

Beyond the recipes, nothing indicates that an animated film, absolutely crazy, which runs today and is featuring a chameleon, can not be a perfect western.

So we range, the first major surprise of the year. A film that, beyond its absurd humor, shows a great knowledge and love of film, achieving a flawless narration (very difficult to achieve with its constant changes of tone), with well-marked path of the hero.

References are many and of all kinds. What counts is the Leone Spaghetti Western with Eastwood, but we also have Ford, Hawks, Peckinpah, the appointed time. There are films from other genres also honored as Apocalypse Now and Panic and Madness in Las Vegas . The plot refers to Chinatown. In any case, references are provided and are fully functional used.

Beyond perfection in terms of animation, which attracts attention is the flawless design of creatures, thought to characterize and breathe life into the characters. With stunning designs, attention to detail and the voices of actors seriously, moles, birds, snakes and turtles become miners, farmers, gunmen and the elderly.

Another thing that overwhelms you is the picture perfect. Each level teaches us that the film is full of possibilities, there are thousands of ways to illustrate an event. Y in search range that we can achieve amazing results. Everything becomes clear when we learned that the consultant on the subject is the director of photography Roger Deakins.

I get critic of The Nation and continue listing items. Now it's up to the music. After the pomposity of Origin , Hans Zimmer's friend was rescued, and put together a soundtrack of unforgettable, along with Los Lobos, with a mariachi owls anticipate, like a Greek chorus, the fate of our hero.

In conclusion, we have noticed Range that I liked. And I did not even mention that Johnny Depp puts the main character's voice, or appearing Hunter Thompson, or that the scene across the highway crestfallen hero shook me like few times, not that ....

Is It Possible To Put Contacts In The Wrong Way?

BLACK SWAN: Of the films that do not help

Dear Readers: I guess

have noticed our absence in recent weeks ... I think the style of our blog clearly demonstrates that behind these cyber lines, two people, two friends (and many others that also work) who write with great commitment and passion but without further formalities. It is for this reason that personal problems may affect, as happened in this case, the continuity of our items.

The truth is that we do this because we like and we do well, so here we are, back.

I'm sure I'm not the only one who does good cinema in general and that can lend a hand at least in mood, from time to time.

not necessarily have to look a comedy to feel good and uplifting. All ... sometimes a bit of good cinema, creative, with a good story, with real beauty gives us that we needed to get back better.

Black Swan is NOT one of these films in my opinion.

not have to do with the fact that a (now so fashionable) psychological thriller, disturbing the style we are used to their Director Darren Aronofsky, but merely with the fact that there is an excellent movie as many expected .

This incredible display of actors, staging, months of preparation, choreography, music and more. failed to convey to even half of what I conveyed the fact that fighter mesh bag in tight lycra, the same director did with a lot less glitz.

When enjoying a movie, I care if the lead actress spent 11 months preparing and learning ballet or if it took 4 or 40 weeks to film, if the music was specially adapted feathers or ballerina costume was sewn by hand one by one ... I care if the movie that did not transmit anything.

Unfortunately, Black Swan makes me think of two options: either Aronofsky heartless formula repeated once served or perhaps "did too much", it became obvious. The tale of degradation and road to the main character's madness makes me lean towards the first option. Obvious resources to tell the story I suggest the latter.

On that last point, we could say it's hard not to fall into elements obvious when the story raises the path of the main character in a simple way: the duality in one person told through a piece of ballet tells of two antagonistic parties (again) the main character. A girl is shown from the start as perfect and unspoiled that must walk the path to its dark and evil side.

Either way, they could have used less obvious elements that pink and black, cut and the exaggerated mirror opposite rival, among other things ...

Again I say, do not need to feel good watching comedy movies. The Wrestler can achieve better a time in my life thanks to the story it tells, his way of telling and passion that is printed. I do not know nor do I care how much it cost them. I choose to Mickey Rourke in poor condition and that collagen before (and that is one of my favorites!) Is physically ready but overacted Natalie Portman. I choose the drama with a heart before the mambo psychological drama with no real passion.

What is "faithful"?: TOY STORY 3 in good company

I waited a long time for this moment. I think that since my sister told me she was pregnant, I dreamed of the day share a movie with my nephew. Finally, came nearly three years later ... and what better movie to share that Toy Story 3 !

This marvel of film allowed the two, aunt and nephew, could enjoy the same level, in the same film. I am not referring to the fact that the movie had scenes with winks to the adults and physical gags for the kids at all. We've talked in this blog that make use of new animated films such references and conquer betting that for adults. Toy Story has nothing of this in any of the 3 films, fortunately. Despite all the magic and technology, Pixar, this movie works without tricks.
Fito
As we noted in another article, Toy Story 3 has hit in all the elements that usually make up a movie, why is everybody excited to tears, get me to the story, marvel at the pictures yet, get my nephew from catching something from every scene , amazed by the color look and movement of the characters and want to repeat the next day. This combination is perfect and results that you really can share a movie with a guy, creating a beautiful moment for both.

I was always too demanding on the environment when watching a movie. And is wrote on the blog about things that bother us in the cinema. In general, I hate talking during the film, ask me things to eat around me, interrupting the projection ... all bah! But this time I was happy to answer the 80 questions that had him in every scene: what is a Cowboy? What do you call the cowboy? Who is he that is not a cowboy? What do you call the baby? What is Bonnie? Where are leaking? Where is Bonnie? Where did the garbage truck? The trash! (Yeah, yeah, every now and then answered himself) why he cries the Princess (Barbie)? Who went down the elevator? What is hacieno the baby? Who is rocking? Where do you run the cowboy? Does that dog is going to speak? WHAT IS TRUE?

latter kill me How do you explain that? The film makes it clear what is loyalty ... be a matter of seeing a couple of times.

How To Make Your Legs Shiny

If you look closely, you may not get bored with beauty ...

Talking Cinema is one of my favorite activities. People who know me is to film buffs, so usually I take the subject. I lose no opportunity for a conversation to flow in that direction.

At this time, I have more film talks yet. Oscars are coming and everyone amused comment on the strengths and weaknesses of the leading nominees.

The talks are very rich and mixed everything from simple opinions, preferences, resources and analysis of cinematic techniques, and even ideological positions.

On the other hand, I have to admit that many times in the film talks about some comments and misconceptions arise that complicate the exchange of views.

Van
some comments more common than my hair stand on end in my cinephile obsession:

"The film is slow. Nothing ever happens "
This comment is a classic. I think it deserves a separate post. What does that mean? It seems that many people associate "slowness" issues as the absence of decisive events in the plot, the use of long shots, the camera still, non-explanation of the conflicts of the characters and the resolution, or directly to the absence of themselves. It is as if the frenetic editing, the camera moving las vueltas y vueltas en la trama hacen a una película más “llevadera” o entretenida.

"For mail messages is" said one day the great Alfred Hitchcock. Very true. We agree that art is expression, and a film can present a particular view about the world. But that does not mean that films have to be giving messages and life lessons to people. There is a huge difference between saying something about an issue and get online to tell people what to think.

"But it's a true story!"
is amazing the charge of a film it is presented as "based on a true story." Amazing stories become even more incredible when people know that everything is looking really happened. Beyond the impact, this should not mean anything cinematically.
On one side are people who believe that absolutely everything that happened that way show with background music and everything. The problem is greater when people, instead of focusing on the story, discusses whether things happened as the film says, when the vast majority of cases does not matter and the fact of reality is simply an excuse to tell a story. Clearly, if the film is a historical issue known to all, and the theme of the movie has to do with what happened in that particular historical moment, things change. I
is delas in most cases, is far more interesting "what might have been" adapted to film language and rhythm that "what really happened" ...

"It's very good photography"
This happens quite often. The audience praised the magnificent picture of a movie which takes place in Tuscany or in the far west, but neither would think that a movie filmed in a rundown industrial city can excel in this field. Good photography does not mean "beautiful scenery." I remember when the girl in the video store gave me a copy just arrived from Lost in Translation. When I told him my idea was to see her in movies, I said it was worth it, he had no good photo ...

"But it is in cartoons. Not for children? "
At this point in the circumstances, with over 15 years Pixar life, this discussion should now be resolved. Miyazaki and I could mention many others who started before, but not necessary. There are dozens of wonderful animated films. Reflect on the most diverse and have the qualities prized by people of all ages. Unfortunately, there are still people who rejected and taken somewhat seriously because a film is animated and its main audience is children. That attitude is almost like the guys underestimated.
's the same with comedy. Many people do not believe that a comedy can be a great movie, or you can play more serious subjects awake and deeper than any drama.

"is old and black and white! Have to be boring "
This directly is a prejudice without any foundation. I can cite dozens of films of the decade of 30 and 40 which are more modern, awake and entertaining romantic comedy any day.

Beyond these lines, est to clear that all opinions are Alida v and interesting debate, but I think you can find much wealth in the analysis and enjoy the movies if these preconceptions crumble ..

Well, there are some more ideas that I wake up these reflections, as something that if a film is time, we are dealing with "quality cinema" or "the end does not leave me anything," but I think that is enough for today.

CDC: THE TRIPLETS OF BELLEVILLE

Music, sounds and forms distorted and combined in almost perfect harmony to tell a simple story. The post

Fito prejudiced comments on films, discusses the issue of message history and ways to tell the language of cinema. In my opinion, The Triplets of Belleville there is much to learn about the uses of form and sound to tell you something.

While this is not a great story is a tale that comes to entertain and soften over the film. This story also serves as a gallery for a series of amusing characters as: a grandmother raising her grandson and accompanies him under any circumstances in his training as a cyclist, a cyclist tenacious, the faithful family dog, very intelligent kidnappers and, of course, the famous and eternal triplets.

and digging a way of reporting on this, I think see something in The Triplets of Belleville , which I mentioned on other great films and having to do with it to talk about himself or the film's story has a connection form. I'll try to explain better ...

In one scene, the triplets began playing jazz with a refrigerator, a table, chairs, among other things. They are not appliances or furniture for your kitchen, but instruments. No matter how rational and common sense that society has a refrigerator, but rather what they can create with the same engine. When playing, there is a distortion of the supposedly real from the refrigerator, to see something else as a musical instrument. Similarly, Director of the film, you do not see how they should actually be people and their figures or how they should be the sounds of breathing or rain, but prefers somewhat distort your senses to get away from the conventions and create something new, on the occasion to emphasize a point, say something or just to make it funny or cute.

Thus, we have all sorts of imbalances in the drawings, human figures, sounds, music. Not only that, but I am convinced that each of these distortions is a function of what they have to say. The kidnappers are square, solid, rigid and dark, while the grandmother is soft and folded. The twins of the rider's legs are exaggerated as has been seen in human form, the dog has awkward shapes. It all makes sense in this story. The forms are in perfect harmony with the history and what we want to highlight each character (strength, kindness, effort, clumsiness, etc.) And in addition, choose a particular way of telling. In The Triplets the director calls on all our senses. The leadership did not have the words or verbal. Might as well to speak in French or Chinese. You do not need many words when there are other elements to tell the same thing and a so original.

Good days grandchildren! GOOD DAY, DAY: documentary Miguel Abuelo

was hoped that the life of a guy as unique as intersante Miguel Abuelo was portrayed in the film, although, paradoxically, this documentary was swift enough. Perhaps

needed to pass the time for his followers to reclaim, so that his son was big enough to go in search of answers about her life, so that those who did not see it live we had wanted to meet the story told by its protagonists. Had to wait for nostalgia grandparents transformed into a beautiful story to their grandchildren grow a bit and maybe stop being parents and grandchildren to be wanting to have some of that was, but still.

The documentary "Good morning, day," traces the life of Miguel Abuelo, including his years in Europe and the various formations of Los Abuelos de la Nada. Despite not having much filmed record of his protagonist, interviews or live performances (especially from the '70s), the film is the gleanings to recreate not only the moments about the speaker, but also to reflect and transmit creativity and multiplicity of characters that one person embodied.

As with any biographical documentary, there are plenty of interviews with those who were close him during his lifetime. However, there is no excess foreign stories ... no need ... there is much enjoyed by the multitude of letters written left Miguel Abuelo and these are aesthetic enough to complete what the film wants to show.

are 90 mintues to enjoy while saying "uh! What a good theme ..." when it starts to sound one of them. An hour and a bit more to cool in such madness, creativity and love of freedom. A time to remember the lyrics of their songs and pick your favorite.

THE SCENE THAT MORE ... HATE - COCA IN THE VEINS (PEARL HARBOR)

By Sabri Osowski to "I think we're not in Kansas ..."

The old rock'n'roll said "If you want to be an important guy, to talk all day about you, or want inmortalizarte as a hero, a murderer and semi-god. You must have: cold tomato juice, tomato juice cold in the veins, veins must have. "

However, according to Pearl Harbor (Michael Bay, 2001) seems that if what you want is to throw "The Bomb" on Hiroshima and Nagasaki, which you have to have in your veins is not cold tomato juice, but Coca-Cola.

The Japs just bombed Pearl Harbor. A true slaughter that Michael Bay portrays sparing in morbidity, patriotism, heroism and dignity to the hour of battle and death. So far nothing very different from the typical Yankee spirit: they are always these warring elements in the narratives of those who inhabit the north of this America. But it does not end there: the heroes of this story (Ben Affleck and Josh Hartnett) are ready for anything, not only fighting but also aguerridamente are united and committed delivery until the last drop of his blood.

The hospital scene is bleak: hordes of zombies seem Marines dying while she (Kate Beckinsale), the protagonist manages to love and serve them efficiently, without losing their femininity and tenderness . Lack of resources does not stop it: Use your socks, your lipstick, everything. And that's where they, the heroes, to donate blood patriot. But, of course, missing inputs, so the content of his blood will go to a few bottles of Coca-Cola. Nothing is missing from the iconography of patriotism warrior is more, this scene goes well beyond the cliché (plus lack of hygiene). There was no way to imagine something like this before witnessed, and why our eye is accustomed to the heroic worldview. But this ... this is really a lot, too.

reading What to do? "They fight like that because they have Coke in his veins? "" Drink Coca-Cola, made with the blood of our heroes? Are the values \u200b\u200bwe fight the heroes are the same as those representing the corporation?

Finally, look at the scene and share the outrage

Old Koleston Perfect Color Chart

Media APOCALYPTO portion

There are several films that deserve to be watched more than once. There are others worth hardly see them finish first, even ... but also those with a good half and not so good.

A film may be advisable to at least be good from start to finish but we know that not always happens. I have a list of movies with a strong first and second part, which I always prefer to see one more than the other. An example is the Best Impossible, this is a movie that I like it in its entirety but it has two clearly marked, the first where he builds the characters from their worst moments and the second starts with the trip, where things are resolved. The first is my favorite and could repeat it 10 times more than the second, but always look full.

With Apocalypto something strange happens to me ... Almost can not stand the first half of the movie (except for the first 5 minutes) but I'm excited to see several times in the second half. I think we could even say that these are two different movies in various aspects.

This film, like several of Mel Gibson, generated much controversy around the issue of America's native peoples and how they are shown in Apocalypto, as well as their level of crudity, loosely historical, etc. I think no one could say that the blood-loving friend Mel, do not put any meat on the grill when he shoots a film. Then we can agree on them, we always major productions, well filmed, with a good job of setting, staging and other minor details not like the use of the original languages. However, in my opinion, the deployment of scripts to generate controversy, is what I like least about their products and do not think it's something minor.

In Apocalypto see a top 5 or 10 minutes where presented The Jaguar Paw's tribe protagonist, living in peace but with a feeling that something is about to happen. After those 10 minutes, passing what he sensed ... That the film comes in a climate of violence and torture in the style Mel, set in a framework that changes from green jungle and home to an unfriendly desert man. Then comes the big city with painted white men and a lot of dryness around. As in any big city (including pre-Columbian), many people and much confusion.

All this is what prevails in the first half of the film. Here we do not finish you understand what's happening but we do not hooked much with this semi-mystery. There is a compelling story to invite to see such a scenario bleak and cruel.

From a concrete fact that Jaguar Paw lives, begins the second half of this movie but you could say we're talking about almost any other film. The only thing that has continuity with the first half, is 30% of the characters and I think nothing more ... Since then there is another scenario, other colors, another way of filming. This second part is a story as simple as a chase, but that simplicity does not allow you take off the screen during the 30 minutes it lasts.

Here we see a lush forest, full of life and danger but not for those who can live in it. We see this little man running through the jungle on a frantic but with a plan. Behind him we see his pursuers, like poor tireless Jaguar Paw, with the sole purpose of catching the guy and kill him, obviously. While there is cruelty, persecution is part of this almost endless and, as viewers, we understand it in any other action film where what prevails is the adrenaline. No matter where it comes.

As you can see, in the second half, Mel is stripped of the issue historically, socially, politically incorrect or correct, the controversy is far from relaxing in the hands of Hollywood and allows the film to entertain, period.

I've seen that second half, several times, no matter what is shown above. That other half was almost unbearable until I saw her for the first time. If the film had a letter, I would only half portion of Apocalypto (the good half portion, of course).

Love is never having to apologize ... for these films? - LOVE AND OTHER ADDICTIONS

What a strange thing, che ...

Of love and other addictions has so many ups and downs in the end it becomes almost unbearable. Do not laugh, not cry, I did not enjoy. Perhaps if they wanted to make one of those things, they had achieved.

A bit of the argument: We are in 1996. Jamie (Jake Gyllenhaal) is a sales representative for Pfizer, one of the main laboratories of the pharmaceutical industry. The guy is a stud, rising as much mine comes across and makes it possible to reach their sales quota for Zoloft, Prozac's main competitor. Jamie meets Maggie (Anne Hathaway), stereotype of "free and unbiased girl, who thinks in the future, working as a waitress and had a department that can only be in the movies" . They begin a relationship without any commitment and are slowly falling into "all that is love." Although there is a problem: Maggie is in the early stages of Parkinson's disease. The plot progresses, Jamie begins to sell Viagra to Pavot and as the love begins to have doubts about how the disease may face Maggie.

You hear that and ask, but what's up? "Romantic comedy or melodrama? Well, the movie that gets out. With its caustic picture of scrupulous in pharmaceutical industry, as films start imitating Thank You for Smoking, Jerry Maguire or Story Scales. With the passing of the minutes and the shivering of parkinson Hathaway, the film begins to approach things more like Sweet November (one in which the dying Charlize Theron "taught me to live" Keanu Reeves ) or Love Story.

So we have comedy and drama. A serious problem with Of love and other addictions is that both in tone or another, is very irregular. There are dramatic or comedy scenes and some very bad redeemable. The problem is not mixing stuff. There are movies are fine and play the most terrible and mixed with comedy while taken seriously. A clear example is a Boy, Chris and Paul Weitz.

Edward Zwick, the director, is a type experienced (but go better for that epic drama), and both Gyllenhaal Hathaway as they put the body into the thing, and it shows. When the script does not let on the brink of ridiculousness, the two stand out well. But they are not magicians. Towards the last half hour, the platitudes argument carried platitudes about interpretations. When the characters are forced to explain bruder everything happens to them, what they learned and what they feel ... breaks down what little they had came to us.

Eye, everything is not so terrible. A positive aspect of the film is that Hathaway seems to bother or get in a little ball, and that's something to stand out from much prudery that prevailed in the romantic comedies these days. Gyllenhaal shows her ass on several occasions and there is more of a scene in which it appears Pavot with a pillow covering her front. Among the boys division, highlighting Oliver Platt as the supervisor of Jamie and Judy Greer as one of the girls rising heartthrob Jake.

Another point worth mentioning is the music. Although the model begins with ninety more easy as possible, ( Two Princes, Spin Doctors of), things improve as the film progresses. The music quality is imposed on the baseline unnecessary time and listen to the great themes of Dylan ( Standing in the doorway), the Kinks ( A Well Respected Man ), Beck (Jack-ass ) Fatboy Slim (Praise You ), Billy Bragg with Wilco, to close at Fidelity, by Regina Spektor.

In short, we face a very uneven film. Personally, I think I have been interested in the way "Jerry Maguire" without having to get into the melodrama of the disease of the kid ... maybe it was something more interesting ...

Metal Core All Black Scooter Wheels

not fast food or a Scottish surname ... What's a McGuffin?

Undoubtedly, the word seems to indicate a greasy burger, but it has nothing to do with it ... and very little for Scotland.

In fact, the McGuffin is a narrative element that is used in film. This is something that makes the characters triggered. Not important in itself, but an excuse for the plot forward. That is its sole purpose. It is something that is important for the characters, but not for the viewer. May be an object, person, event. Sometimes they are documents, a necklace, a microfilm, a secret weapon or a formula that can not fall into enemy hands.

The McGuffin is interchangeable: the stolen relic seeking a researcher can be a Van Gogh painting, a sculpture or a diamond necklace.

Whatever the case, what matters is the story progresses: for example, if the McGuffin is a weapon or a secret formula, "good" face big obstacles so that the object does not fall into the wrong hands. Meanwhile, fall in love and / or resolve any internal conflict.

who baptized (and used on dozens of occasions) to the McGuffin was Alfred Hitchcock.

In conversation with Truffaut, the "master of suspense" says the word comes from the Music Hall:

"Two men on a train and one them tells the other "What's that package that is in the trunk that is over your head?". The other replies, "Ah, that's a McGuffin." The former insists: "What is a McGuffin? "and his traveling companion replies" A MacGuffin is a device to hunt lions in the Adirondacks. "But if in the Adirondacks there are no lions," he blurts out the first man. "So that is why no is a MacGuffin, "replies the other."

Some McGuffins famous film history are the Maltese Falcon movie of the same name, the suitcase full of "do not know what" Pulp Fiction , "The rabbit's foot "Mission Impossible 3 in or stolen sword El Tigre, Hidden Dragon . George Lucas says the robots, a McGuffin is R2D2 of the first Star Wars as many characters spend the entire film looking for him. Another is looking for Private Ryan, an excuse to see a platoon forward by the Nazis occupied France, discussing the war between confrontation and conflict. There is comedy that also have a McGuffin. What's up, Doc? is a comedy in which characters go looking 4 the same bags.

Thus, the film is full of McGuffins, elements that serve as an excuse for us to see our favorite characters jump, run, laugh, love and so many other things ...

I leave you with a small video with an explanation of the Hitchcock original, animated version ...

Where Can I Buy Howrse Cards In Michigan

Holidays in the real world: ADVENTURELAND

If we take as true the premise that says the parks are made for fun, let us out a little of the real world to move to another magic show in the park Adventureland greatly failure . However, achieved with great success, a young boy in a family more or less privileged and recently graduated from college, down from a hondazo the real world and know how beautiful and not so cute in it.

James is a guy who has had a fairly comfortable life thus far. Able to devote 100% to study a career of more abstract, just apply and q can be profitable. Throughout their studies, dreams of traveling to Europe to experience life with a friend. These plans are truncated when the crisis of the 80s hits hard at home and is forced to seek work. Sure ... with zero experience and a bachelor's impractical, the only gigs I get is a job at the local amusement park in the small town of his birth. Adventureland parade

For the most varied characters. A madman who reads Gogol at age 18, a minitas who do not care about the couple owns the park fans of each other and the park itself, an almost perfect juveniles admired by all, a girl a bit serious for age and as charming as mysterious, among others.

Clearly the boy will make friends and enemies, disappointed and feel let down, fall in love, and all other etceteras that can happen in a transition summer. Cash, the film does not seem to have more charm. However, the director, Greg Mottola, as in Supercool tells a story of a particular way that not only engages but also excited, but appealing to our real sensitive side, not effective or cheap tricks.

This distinction between real and fake is what most stands out in this film. That variety

transiting the Adventureland Park, is responsible for display without overwhelming them with platitudes, the real, fictional, make-believe, the authentic and poses.

A micro world of lies, like an amusement park, makes real-world model and the entry of James helps run the curtain, to discover what is behind everything. Here we see the ruthless and merciless to those who do not imports hurt the other so to have fun or show off, the loser has a lot to teach, the juveniles are not as perfect as it sells its facade, the girl hard and mysterious, vulnerable as anyone else.

The director, is working to combine the right amount of comedy, drama, entertainment and real emotion in just 90 minutes. Rare to find ... To add to all the good thing about this film, is located in the 80s and does great honor to the great music of that era.

recommend it for viewing at any time and join the list of forgotten little gems in the film.

Star Tattoo On Lower Tummy

Let's see the meteor or asteroid? - TWINS MOVIES

When we sat down to see Megamente with my niece Kira, I asked if he knew what it was about the movie, I said, "is a funny villain, but is actually Well, as My Favorite Villain. "

We had seen My Favorite Villain few months before and again we were facing a villain determined by their origin, but he chose to become a hero. Beyond the issues of the two films are different, it is amazing how similar the premise.

remembered that this happens quite often in Hollywood and I thought it would be worth writing a few lines about it.

You do not know if it happens, if there are industrial espionage or agree, but the truth is that every so often Hollywood studios films are released with almost identical.

most incredible cases occurred in 1998. During that year, two films were released in which the planet was in danger of a meteorite that was approaching. Deep Impact was more melodrama, with people clinging to reconcile while the world ends, and Armageddon was pure testosterone grasuna of Michael Bay. In the first, a fragment of the meteorite hit the Earth, claiming millions of lives, while in the second martyr Bruce Willis was responsible for completely eliminating the asteroid. There also were Ben Affleck, Liv Tyler and Aerosmith song ...

and 1998 continued the twins movies. Premiered in October Antz, a computer-animated film starring tiny bugs, and the next month opened Bugs , a computer-animated film starring tiny bugs. Naaaaaaah .....

in 1997 and had spent something like that, also with the disaster film. Fires, floods, earthquakes, hurricanes, tsunamis ... There are dozens of different types of disasters, but this year they were only thought of making movies of volcanoes. In February came Dante's Peak, with Linda Hamilton and Pierce Brosnan, and in April and came to theaters Volcano with Tommy Lee Jones and more production, but less effective. I remember the first scene from Dante's Peak , a sort of tribute to Shark : a carefree loving couple gets into some hot springs for a romantic moment, but the water temperature changes rapidly and the kitchen in seconds.

The following year he released The Truman Show, that the guy who filmed her life to show it on television. A few months later, Ed TV out with another guy whose life was a reality show, but this he was aware of what happened (in Truman secretly filming him).

continued to appear more. In 2000 we had two movies to travel to Mars, Mission to Mars and Red Planet. Katie Holmes and Mandy Moore starred in 2004 movie about what it feels like to be the U.S. president's daughter in Chasing Liberty and First Daughter . In both films, the girls rebel and fall in love with a guy in the end is a secret service agent ... Alcoy Alcoy is little.

In 2006, the magicians became fashionable in the second half (I think that even with two months apart) were released The Illusionist and The Prestige . Neither dazzled me, but Nolan had David Bowie as Nicola Tesla ...

What else? I remember a couple of films on security guards in shopping (a couple of years ago, one had to Seth Rogen and the other Kevin James) and I mentioned last year with My Favorite Villain and Megamente .

beyond that of "a Hollywood lacking ideas", it amuses me when (God knows for what reason) happens. I enjoy seeing both films, spot the differences and decide which is the winner of the duel.
