Dear Readers: I guess
have noticed our absence in recent weeks ... I think the style of our blog clearly demonstrates that behind these cyber lines, two people, two friends (and many others that also work) who write with great commitment and passion but without further formalities. It is for this reason that personal problems may affect, as happened in this case, the continuity of our items.
The truth is that we do this because we like and we do well, so here we are, back.
I'm sure I'm not the only one who does good cinema in general and that can lend a hand at least in mood, from time to time.
not necessarily have to look a comedy to feel good and uplifting. All ... sometimes a bit of good cinema, creative, with a good story, with real beauty gives us that we needed to get back better.
Black Swan is NOT one of these films in my opinion.
not have to do with the fact that a (now so fashionable) psychological thriller, disturbing the style we are used to their Director Darren Aronofsky, but merely with the fact that there is an excellent movie as many expected .
This incredible display of actors, staging, months of preparation, choreography, music and more. failed to convey to even half of what I conveyed the fact that fighter mesh bag in tight lycra, the same director did with a lot less glitz.
When enjoying a movie, I care if the lead actress spent 11 months preparing and learning ballet or if it took 4 or 40 weeks to film, if the music was specially adapted feathers or ballerina costume was sewn by hand one by one ... I care if the movie that did not transmit anything.
Unfortunately, Black Swan makes me think of two options: either Aronofsky heartless formula repeated once served or perhaps "did too much", it became obvious. The tale of degradation and road to the main character's madness makes me lean towards the first option. Obvious resources to tell the story I suggest the latter.
On that last point, we could say it's hard not to fall into elements obvious when the story raises the path of the main character in a simple way: the duality in one person told through a piece of ballet tells of two antagonistic parties (again) the main character. A girl is shown from the start as perfect and unspoiled that must walk the path to its dark and evil side.
Either way, they could have used less obvious elements that pink and black, cut and the exaggerated mirror opposite rival, among other things ...
Again I say, do not need to feel good watching comedy movies. The Wrestler can achieve better a time in my life thanks to the story it tells, his way of telling and passion that is printed. I do not know nor do I care how much it cost them. I choose to Mickey Rourke in poor condition and that collagen before (and that is one of my favorites!) Is physically ready but overacted Natalie Portman. I choose the drama with a heart before the mambo psychological drama with no real passion.
