Launch book Modern Architecture in Chile

The Delegation Concepcion College of Architects and the University of Bio Bio invite you to the launch of the book History of Modern Architecture in Chile (1884 - 1929) architect Pablo Fuentes, a teacher researcher FACD of UBB to be held on Thursday 12 November at 19:00 hrs in the exhibition hall of the Binational of culture located in Caupolican 315, Concepcion.

Brief Description

Pablo Fuentes Hernández (1962), graduated in architecture from the School of Architecture at the University of Bío-Bío, Concepción, in 1989. He has a PhD in Architecture from the Polytechnic University of Madrid in 2009, obtained postgraduate doctoral thesis The Development of Modern Architecture in Chile, 1929-1970: ownership, debate and architectural production. He also holds a Masters in Heritage Conservation and Restoration of the same entity since 1999.

teaches in the School of Architecture at the University of Bío-Bío since 1991 and member of the Department of Design and Architectural Theory. Also teaches at the University of the Americas. Currently he teaches in the area of \u200b\u200beducation of the project and the history of modern architecture and urbanism. He has also taught the plastic material and spatial configuration. He has won several university research projects that deal with issues of architecture and modern city in Chile, the Chilean subsidiary formation of CIAM, a chronology of modern architecture in Chile, and archives digital architecture.
