Mother (Pink Floyd - The Wall)
all know that Disney movies, between both color and joy, not dribble dark themes. Even so, it calls our attention to the fact of hearing a song from a mother to her daughter who reminds us The Wall , the obscure work of Pink Floyd.
In tangled there is no wall, but If a tower. There lives locked Rapunzel, a young woman that her mother filled with fear, but with a great curiosity about what lies beyond the window. With its small chameleon Pascal (a kind of opposite of Jiminy Cricket, the supports to be played instead of saying what he does wrong), he spends painting, reading, dreaming. Oh, right! The girl has a special feature: long hair and magical, allowing wounds to heal and rejuvenate. His mother was charged with poison head saying that in the outside world all want their hair, and only will be safe in the arms of his mother he loves. Moreover, the song he sings has much in common with the overwhelming Mother, Pink Floyd.
Rapunzel is actually a princess from a nearby kingdom, who was kidnapped at birth by an elderly woman who wants unlimited access to his magical hair, to be young forever. If the alleged overprotective mother is an ugly old woman who uses the child to be forever young.
As Ariel The Little Mermaid, Rapunzel dreams that are in the know outside world, but his manipulative foster mother load of guilt and fear that do not. It's amazing to see a villain who keeps telling the heroine he loves her. So what item should go into the plot for Rapunzel to escape and leave the world? Exactly ... a kid.
An adventurer (and thief) called Flynn chance Rider comes to the tower and helps the young to escape. So begin the adventures of these two, which will be gradually entangled.
The film becomes a great adventure, the most entertaining. Anyway, we should not forget that nothing occurs by chance. We will see as Rapunzel begins to unfold in the outside world, as he feels a mixture of guilt and joy, and find people who may seem threatening or different, but actually have their own dreams.
At this point, is more than clear that the movie fascinated me. Without doubt, the best of Disney animated since at least Lilo & Stich. The animation is incredible. In the words of the producers, the intention was to combine the best of both worlds: traditional animation and computer-made. So we have a movie made by computer, but with a traditional look. I read there that the style is based on Swing, a French painting of Fragonard. Without doubt, this is reflected in the outcome.
What else? The film has one great merit: the ability to be modern and intelligent, without departing from the fairy tale scheme. There was plenty of that in Enchanted, film that Enredados have more than one point in common.
There are dozens of things to say, but it would be best that everyone go and see and what we can talk about this movie for long.
